Water Safety

On Monday in week 6 Julie from the Millennium for theory of water safety and we were going to the Millennium on the Wednesday. Finally that day arrived so we went to the Millennium for Water safety and we learnt the 3 ways of keeping safe with our life jackets with Diane and the 3 ways are: Making sure only 1 hand can fit through the bottom buckle if not you need to undo it and tighten it. If the arm holes fit around your ears you need another life jacket or refer to number 1. Also you should be able to float while you are wearing one. On to the actual swimming. First we did the huddle and the H.E.L.P position ( heat escape lessening position ). When we did the Help and huddle we scuba exited off a raft and most of us ( Tiana Michaela Leoni Emma ) were in the help position and when Diane blew the whistle that meant that we had to huddle around Michaelea. That was mostly it cause some of it I cannot remember. We all had great fun and I hope you enjoyed me explaining for like 2 minutes so BAI!!!

My first four weeks of term 1

Great start to the year called 2017. In Room 16 this year we have been doing multiple things that have been astounding! What we have done so far is : First Aid, Quick 5, Maths (Greedy Pig, Activities), Brain teasers Tri-hack-a-thon and many, many more!. For art we have done a piece called “ Sizzling Summer Scenes “ which is where we designed our holiday in a form of sunglasses . In First aid we learnt how to do CPR ( Cardiopulmonary resuscitation ), how to know if someone is dead or not, also if someone cut their hand so you could see the bone we learnt this : P S L W ( Plug Squeeze Lift Wrap ) . I WAS SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I missed out on 2 days of school which is when we did science : (. One Friday I did FFF ( Fun food Friday )  and sold juicies with Eliza. In maths we did something called figure me out and Ryan C got my sheet. Here are some photos:

So continuing on that subject I tried out to be a house leader but I didn’t get to be one. So I took more risks and got lots of opportunities
